First Step: Application Form
The application form helps us to understand what you are working on, what you are interested in and how you would use a grant from us.

Second Step: Arrange a chat with us
All eligible applicants will be invited to a brief chat with us.
Lumbs Educational Foundation meets on six occasions throughout the year. You will be invited to one of these meetings to discuss your application.

Third Step: During the chat
This chat is not designed to be scary! We care about young people and want you to feel as comfortable as possible. We understand you may not have done something like this before and we’ll support you throughout the process.
You are likely to be asked questions about:
1)Why you are interested in what you are choosing to do.
2)How you would use the money if the charity were able to give you a grant.
3)What you hope to do in the future.
Don’t worry if you haven’t used Zoom before, we can help you to get onto it for the meeting.

Step 4: Final step
You will not be told whether the charity is able to give you a grant on the same day as your meeting. This is because we need time to discuss if we are able to give you a grant and if so how much that will be.
You will be contacted within 48 hours of your meeting.
